For any editorial design project, I have the invaluable support of an exceptional designer and art director, Julia Paonessa.
Julia has designed stunning books that explore unique visual themes. One notable project is a book featuring the painted bodies of Africa, including “Surma,” with photography by Angela Fisher and Carol Beckwith, who are also the authors of "African Ceremonies." Another is “Sadhus,” with photographs by Thomas L. Kelly. She also worked on “Lágrimas de Luna,” which showcases Mapuche silverware and their ancestral symbols from Chile. Additionally, Julia designed the remarkable book "Cuerpos fotografiados por Yamanaka," which focuses on nude portraits of individuals over 100 years old. Her expertise and artistic vision significantly enhance the visual storytelling of these culturally rich and visually captivating books.
Julia and I have a proven track record as creative partners at BBDO, collaboratively crafting impactful campaigns across print, TV, and digital media for four years. Toge
